From the Principal...

Opened in 1974, Gladstone Views Primary School serves a diverse cultural community. Our unwavering focus, in partnership with parents and carers, is on the academic, social and emotional growth of every child.

At Gladstone Views Primary School we value; safety, responsibility, cooperation, honesty, respect and learning. These values are reflected in the way staff go about their work, and are key concepts taught to children at every year level.

'The Views' has a proud tradition of providing quality education. Teachers work in teams to plan for the learning and success of every child. Personal success and personal learning growth are priorities for all of our teachers.

In addition to classroom programs covering English and mathematics, students have weekly classes in the specialist areas of physical education, performing arts, Italian, art and science. Dedicated learning spaces, including a full sized gym and science/art room, allow students to explore and learn in well-resourced facilities.

We have an active and involved school community, and the sense of community spirit is clearly evident. Our School Council and sub-committees meet regularl, however,  this is only one way in which parents and carers have input into the school. Parents volunteers are most welcome and can often be seen helping in classrooms , assisting at sporting events or setting off on excursions.

Learning at 'The Views' is supported by the use of technology. Students in years five and six have access to an individual school notebook each day, while those in the younger classes access iPads and notebooks as required.

If you have any questions about the school, or the programs offered, please don't hesitate to make contact via email ( or phone (9338 6083).
